RV Owners
How does it work?
If your RV is accepted to the program, you will be matched with a vetted & professionally managed fleet operator who operates the fleet out of a RecNation Storage facility. This team will onboard your RV and manage the entire rental. They will meet with renters to conduct the check in/check out process, answer any of their questions, and let the owner sit back and relax. This process is completely passive to the RV owner.
Requirements to join:
- RV Owners must maintain RV insurance at all times while in the rental program, understanding that renters will pay for damage to the vehicle while its being rented.
- RVs have to be 20 years or newer to qualify for the service and renter’s insurance.
- Has safe and operational tires (no more than 5 years old)
- Undergoes regular maintenance (oil changes, tire replacements) – check with fleet operator if they handle any maintenance items.
- RV is in good working order (fridge, stove, air conditioners, furnace, doors, cabinets, etc.).
- RV needs to be stored at the RecNation storage facility the fleet operates out of.
How much can I earn?
- Variable Income: Income varies by location, RV type, and listing duration. Contact us for specific numbers.
- Annual Revenue: RVs can generate over $60,000 annually in some cases, though earnings can be less than $15,000 for others.
- With each rental, no more than 50% of the rental revenue will go to the fleet operator for their services. RV owners will get paid out the rest.
- Once you are matched with a fleet operator, inquire about their pricing and payment process.
Costs:
- The white-glove program is free to join!
- There may be storage costs and some wear-and-tear on the vehicle which the owner may be responsible for. Inquire with your fleet operator for more information.
Can I still use my RV?
- Availability: RV rentals peak in spring through summer. Owners should mark out desired usage dates in advance, allowing rentals during other periods.
- Flexibility: Owners can remove their unit or block off dates at any time for personal use.

Renters
Renter Usage:
- While renters will use your RV, they are responsible for any damages incurred during the rental period. It is their responsibility to return the vehicle in the same condition as they received it or they may pay penalties or for damages.
Security and Background Checks:
- Renters must leave a security deposit to cover potential insurance deductibles and undergo a background check before receiving the RV keys.
What if an Accident Happens?
- Security Measures: Renters must leave a security deposit to cover the insurance deductible and undergo a background check before key handoff.
- Insurance Coverage: Each reservation includes insurance paid by the renter at checkout, covering up to the value of your RV.
- Renter Requirements: Renters undergo a background check and must be 25 years or older.
